Johns' Eagle Scout Project: When our local National Guard unit was activated and deployed to Iraq, John set up a "hotline" to assist the family members left behind. This help line provided to the Guard families free assistance with plumbing, electrical, a/c, and much more. The project grew to cover 800 families around northeast and central Georgia and lasted 1 1/2 years.
