Each month our Troop Committee meets to discuss and plan for the Troops operation and upcoming events. The Committee meetings are held at the Church during regularly scheduled Troop meetings for the boys. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend these meetings and become part of the Committee. If you have any concerns or anything you would like to discuss please contact the Committee Chair John King and have it added to the next meeting agenda.

Other Announcements:

At the August 2008 Committee meeting we discussed Board of Review Training. The publication that Lee has will be our main source for the BOR Training information, however I also found a Board of Review Training section on the National Councils website. I encourage everyone that is responsible for giving boards of review to check it out and download the PDF file for reference. I have added a link on the Adult Leader Training page of our site.

There has been many updates to this website. It is being designed to provide important information for Scouts, adult leaders AND parents. Please encourage your boys to use the site to help them with advancement, leadership positions and all sorts of Scouting related information. We are working on adding much of the documentation the boys will need for advancement to be accessed and downloaded from the website so that they will not need to wait to get it at the Troop meetings.
